We had a stall in the foyer for the sale of members' cards at the Garrick Theatre for several perfomances of "What a Wonderful Life" at the end of November. Sales were modest but encouraging. However, there was real interest in the Society so we managed to raise our profile.
Thanks to Ruth Hetherington (on the left) and Jane Fraser(in the giant coat) for organising and to the Garrick for letting us use their space.
Brian and Freda Eyden are manning the stall.

As part of the Altrincham Art Trail we have a large display in the window of Howden's, the insurance brokers, on the corner of Stamford New Road and Cross Street. It features around 30 pictures, all by ASA members, with many of them for sale.
Thanks to Alex Doyle and Jane Fraser for all their work in arranging and to Howden for hosting.

Many other ASA Members are displaying their work at various venues around the town
Presenting Julian Lees at MASA-UK ART GALLERY
Exhibition opening from 7th of November
6-9pm at the Gallery in Altrincham
Julian Lees is a multidisciplinary artist, 3D designer, and former lecturer who has spent fifty years exploring the experience of "looking."
Trained at Manchester Polytechnic and having coordinated the Visual Arts Foundation course at Blackburn College in the 1980s, his work innovatively combines graphic and photographic media across his two main subjects: the life model and landscape. Lees approaches each blank canvas as a fresh opportunity to question why and how we select ideas to represent the world, driven by his interest in memory and the profound choices inherent in observation.
